Our client, a venture backed startup in the photography industry is looking for a talented Senior Product Marketing Manager to join their growing team. With both B2C and B2B product offerings, our client is looking for a seasoned all round marketer to help them reach new audiences across all target markets. The B2B product was launched in China last year, and is now being introduced to the US market. This person will lead the strategy and executions for their new SaaS photography platform.

This role will be full time onsite at our client’s San Jose office.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Define market positioning within the professional photography software platform space
  • Craft compelling product positioning, messaging, and user experience for various product apps and bundles offerings with the product management team 
  • Develop marketing content, including web pages, videos, creatives, tutorials, FAQs and assist channel marketers with creatives, blogs, social media content.
  • Lead go-to-market process to support new product launches and ongoing marketing efforts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, marketing, analytics, and customer support to influence product development and ensure that customer feedback is integrated into product improvements
  • Orchestrate educational programs (webinars, content marketing campaigns, in person events, product demos, trade shows) that inspire our target audience and help facilitate product education and trials
  • Conduct customer interviews and gather feedback to understand pain points and customer needs, which can inform product development and marketing strategies
  • Deliver product analytics to identify opportunities to optimize user flow, including free trials starts and conversions, engagement and retention, and customer lifetime value
  • Coordinate with the product team to implement on-site and off-site SEO best practices to maximize organic traffic
  • Grow revenues for newly launched software by focusing on customer acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization
  • Improve product roadmaps by serving as the voice of the customer

Requirements: 

  • 5 years of product marketing experience with demonstrated success in growing new products from scratch, taking products from zero to one
  • A deep understanding of SaaS, targeting small/medium businesses or prosumers, user flow, optimization, and monetization
  • Strong analytical skills with a bias towards data and KPIs
  • Motivation to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Creative problem solving skills
  • Ability to diagnose problems, isolate them into actionable tactics, and drive towards creative solutions
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex thoughts and strategies into simple, actionable recommendations
  • A passion to learn or keep up with the AI space
  • Interest in photography, graphic  design, and arts is a plus
  • Past experience working in a dynamic, global team environment is a plus

Base salary: $100k-150k DOE + benefits
