Our client, a leading manufacturer of high-end, handmade wall decor is looking for a dynamic Senior Digital Content Manager to join their growing team. In business for over 50 years, their team of talented artists create one-of-a-kind pieces for the home decor and hospitality industries. Their work is rich in creativity, diversity, and range as well as style and designs. Their skilled in-house artists create bespoke pieces, adding originality and impeccable craftsmanship to a variety of spaces. The Senior Digital Content Manager will lead the strategic planning, development, and optimization of digital content across the brand ecosystem.
This is a contract-to-hire role based in La Mirada, CA. The hours are 6am-3:30pm PST, fully onsite Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy and execution of digital content across all channels, including website, email, social media, blogs, look books, and product storytelling
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive content calendar, ensuring integration with product launches, sales campaigns, and seasonal initiatives
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align messaging with key business goals
- Optimize website content and product metadata for SEO, discoverability, and conversion
- Create engaging and brand-consistent content for social platforms
- Present content plans, campaign recaps, and performance insights to executive leadership and make data-driven recommendations for improvement
- Maintain accurate and organized product content, images, and marketing assets using Dropbox, OneDrive, Excel, and Smartsheet
- Help establish content governance standards and improve content workflow processes across teams
- Mentor or guide junior content creators or freelance resources as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field
- 6+ years of experience in digital content strategy, marketing, or editorial roles — preferably in the home décor, lifestyle, design, or creative industries
- Proven ability to own and execute content projects from ideation to delivery across multiple digital platforms
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities with a focus on brand voice and commercial impact
- Proficiency in CMS platforms, email marketing tools (HubSpot preferred), and social media management tools
- Working knowledge of SEO, GA4, and interpreting content performance data
- Experience working with graphic designers and a basic understanding of Adobe Creative Suite tools
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS for formatting is a plus
- Highly organized with excellent project management instincts and attention to detail
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with shifting priorities
- Self-starter who proactively identifies opportunities, takes ownership, and drives projects forward
Base: $50-62/hr DOE
