Our client, a mission-driven privately-held eldercare services company with 20+ years of success in the Bay area, is now seeking a Business Development Manager to join their growing team. They have a deeply-personalized relationship-based approach to eldercare, combining the clinical rigor of a healthcare organization with the warmth and empathy of a boutique service – delivered by a multidisciplinary team of nurses, social workers, gerontologists, and therapists. This is a hybrid position in the San Francisco Bay area, with a combination of remote work and being in the field (2-3 visits per day) in San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Alameda, Marin, and surrounding counties with warm leads in this referral heavy business.
You'll work directly with a supportive leadership team and alongside nurses, therapists, care managers, and social workers who are passionate about improving the lives of elders, and would be ideal for someone who thrives on relationship-building and purpose-driven sales, while also being able to track performance and measure what works and what doesn't.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and execute business development efforts across a defined Bay Area territory
- Build strong, referral-based relationships with healthcare professionals, community leaders, and families
- Drive lead generation, conversion, and client acquisition using proven outreach strategies and CRM tools
- Contribute to overall growth strategy and help shape messaging, funnel design, and sales processes
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or consultative sales (ideally in healthcare, eldercare, or service industries)
- Proven ability to build trust-based relationships in a referral-driven environment
- Based within approximately 1 hour of the five-county territory
- Comfortable with fieldwork and client-facing travel several days a week
- Strong communication, strategic thinking, and follow-through
Why Consider This Role
- Join an established organization with a stellar local reputation and existing referral network
- Compensation includes competitive base salary plus performance-based bonus
- Full benefits package: health insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, 401(k) with employer match, and annual bonus tied to company performance
- Opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of elders and their families while working with a collaborative and mission-driven team
