About the Role
This is a contract opportunity for a senior communications professional to join one of the most active and culturally influential brand PR teams in quick service. As Senior Analyst, Brand Communications and PR, you will own earned media strategy and execution for Taco Bell's highest-visibility campaigns, driving integrated programs that generate coverage, cultural conversation, and lasting brand relevance. The role sits at the center of the marketing calendar and reports into the broader PR and Marketing organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive PR strategy for brand tentpole campaigns, delivering integrated earned media programs that build cultural relevance and measurable coverage
- Lead all PR workstreams for Cantina Chicken, Crispy Chicken, Fries, and Category Entry Point initiatives, including press materials development and agency management
- Partner with social and brand teams from the earliest stages of product launch planning to ensure PR narratives and elements are fully integrated into go-to-market strategy
- Develop integrated marketing and communications plans in collaboration with internal cross-functional teams, agency partners, and restaurant franchisees
- Support strategy and execution for brand experiences and media touchpoints that ladder up to broader business priorities
- Deliver PR-specific KPIs, performance metrics, and analytics that demonstrate program and campaign impact to internal stakeholders
- Identify culturally relevant moments for real-time brand engagement and proactively surface new opportunities to position the brand at the forefront of culture
- Provide thought leadership on emerging trends, media landscape shifts, and cultural insights that inform communications strategy
- Champion brand PR and marketing communications strategy, ensuring all efforts reinforce and elevate the broader brand narrative
Qualifications
- 6 or more years of PR experience in a creative agency, communications agency, or in-house brand environment
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing communications plans and press materials for consumer brands
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives across formats and audiences
- Proven ability to lead PR strategy for high-visibility brand campaigns and tentpole moments
- Broad knowledge of news cycles, cultural trends, and the evolving media landscape
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously under deadline pressure
- Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Bachelor's degree required
- QSR or food industry experience is a plus
