- Why don’t I see any companies mentioned or salary ranges in the job descriptions posted on your site ?
-
This is a fair question & we hear it a lot; there are many reasons we omit our clients’ information as well as each roles’ target salary. We work to protect our client’s privacy while also protecting the exclusivity we have with them for each role. In regards to why we omit salary information, the quickest answer is: it varies. Sometimes clients rely on us to consult with them on the target salary for the specific talent they are looking to add to their team and other times companies have a strict budget but are more negotiable on other factors in the job description. And in many cases, it is depending on experience which of course varies greatly from candidate to candidate.
- Is there a cost to this service?
-
There is no cost to our candidates for using our services.
- What should I include on my resume?
-
We always recommend catering your resume to each role you are interested in applying for. In a way your resume shows how you marketed yourself. For more junior candidates, we recommend bringing your education to one of the first things the hiring manager’s eye will see. We recommend a skills section of the resume early on in the resume, instead of one of the last sections or at the bottom of the page & highly recommend bullet points for each platform/software you have experience with that is relative to the your professional title/role you are applying for. For more senior candidates, we highly recommend editing your resume to only include the most focused and most relevant experience. Overall, we recommend making your resume easy for a busy potential hiring manager to scan and decide if you are strong candidate for the role they are looking to hire for.
