The Company
Our client is a fast-growing, AI-native B2B SaaS platform redefining how modern IT teams manage and secure their infrastructure. Backed by top-tier venture capital and competing directly against two-decade-old incumbents, they're at an inflection point — launching a new product, moving upmarket, and building the GTM engine to match. The majority of their engineering and product teams are based in India, with a growing US leadership and GTM presence.
This is a company that's genuinely building something new, not retrofitting legacy software with AI window dressing.
The Opportunity
This isn't a “maintain the machine” role. You're walking into a team that needs a reset — new playbooks, new structure, new standards. The previous motion was built for high-volume SMB. The new one targets IT Directors and CIOs at organizations with 250–2,000 employees, and the outbound strategy needs to match.
You'll own the SDR function end-to-end: restructuring the existing global team, hiring and onboarding US-based field SDRs, building playbooks from scratch for a new product and ICP, and establishing the metrics and accountability culture the team needs to perform.
What You'll Own
- Lead, coach, and restructure a globally distributed SDR team across the US and India
- Build outbound playbooks from scratch for a new product and upmarket ICP (IT Directors, CIOs, 250–2,000 employee organizations)
- Architect a dual-motion strategy: US field SDRs focused on pipeline generation; India team focused on top-of-funnel (webinars, partner channels)
- Hire and onboard three US-based field SDRs (one existing)
- Build and implement a measurement framework for SDR productivity, pipeline quality, and conversion metrics
- Own sequences in Outreach — build, test, iterate
- Partner closely with marketing on ICP messaging, campaign alignment, and event strategy
- Collaborate with AEs on pipeline-to-close handoffs and feedback loops
- Travel monthly for trade shows, community events, and team meetings
