Senior Product Marketing Manager
Location: Southern California (Orange County area), 3-days a week
About the Role
Our client, a growth-stage ophthalmic pharmaceutical and medical technology company, is hiring a Senior Product Marketing Manager to co-lead strategy for a newly launched, first-in-class corneal therapy, with a focus on the optometric channel. This role sits at the intersection of disease awareness, referral development, and commercialization — building the programs that expand detection and drive patients toward treatment.
What You’ll Do
Own and execute a detection-center strategy to expand screening and referral pathways through the optometric community Co-lead positioning, messaging, and value propositions across disease awareness, detection, and treatment Build and deploy targeted campaigns and sales enablement tools (digital, print, field) to engage optometrists and drive referrals Generate insights from market trends, customer feedback, and campaign performance to continuously optimize strategy Partner on KOL development and engagement through congresses, peer-to-peer programs, and podium presentations Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Clinical, Finance, and Operations to ensure aligned execution Manage external vendors and budgets to deliver high-quality, compliant marketing programs
What You Bring
12+ years of marketing experience, including medical device or pharmaceutical marketing within ophthalmology or eyecare Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred Strong product marketing and campaign execution experience with demonstrated impact Deep understanding of the optometric landscape, referral dynamics, and OD engagement strategies Established KOL relationships within the optometric community Proven ability to influence stakeholders and lead cross-functional initiatives Highly self-directed with strong project management and execution capabilities Ability to travel approximately 35% (optometric congresses, field engagement, KOL activities)
Comp Range: 157,700.00 – 197,100.00
