We are partnering with a well-established, North American manufacturer and distributor of elevator interior fixture solutions — a company with a strong foothold in the commercial construction and building products space and a growing US presence. They're looking for a driven, relationship-oriented sales professional to own and grow their Northeast territory.
Regional Sales Manager — Northeast US Territory: CT, DC, DE, MA, MD, ME, NH, NJ, NY, RI, VA, VT, WV | Based: NY/NJ | Travel: 50%+ Comp: $70–80K base + $50–60K commission at target (~$120–140K OTE)
The Role
- Own and grow a 13-state Northeast territory — managing existing accounts while actively developing new business
- Deliver product presentations and demonstrations to contractors, architects, and building professionals
- Build deep product expertise and become a trusted advisor to your customers
- Collaborate with inside sales and project management teams to ensure seamless customer experience
- Conduct site surveys and provide onsite support as needed
- Track market conditions, competitor positioning, and pricing to inform strategy
- Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual territory forecasting
- Identify new product and market segment opportunities
What They're Looking For
- Demonstrated outside or customer-facing B2B sales experience
- Background in building products, construction, manufacturing, or a technical product category is a strong asset
- Self-starter who thrives working independently across a large territory
- Strong communicator — written, verbal, and in-person
- Exceptional organizational skills and follow-through
- Comfortable with 50%+ travel within the territory
- A valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record and access to reliable transportation
- Employment contingent upon completion of job-related background checks conducted in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws
