This is an entrepreneurial role for someone who thrives on building relationships, spotting opportunities, and closing deals. You’ll be a key player in expanding brand visibility, generating new business, and strengthening partnerships across multiple industries—all while working closely with the firm’s partners and leadership team.
About the Role
- Drive new business development and revenue growth for the company’s portfolio of small, high-potential businesses
- Build strategic relationships with community partners, event organizers, local businesses, and high-value clientele
- Identify new opportunities for expansion and lead outbound prospecting and lead-gen efforts
- Represent the company at events, conferences, and community activations as a polished, confident brand ambassador
- Collaborate with internal teams to pitch services, refine messaging, and support cross-portfolio growth initiatives
- Establish repeatable systems for sales outreach, nurturing, follow-up, and reporting
- Travel as needed to meet partners and attend key events (primarily around Charleston, with occasional East Coast travel)

Ideal Candidate
- 3–7+ years of experience in sales, business development, partnerships, or a similar client-facing role
- Polished, charismatic, confident speaking with executives, partners, and high-value customers
- Proven ability to hunt for leads, build relationships, and close business
- Comfortable in a fast-moving, startup-style environment where you wear multiple hats
- Self-motivated, energetic, adaptable, and excited to build something from the ground up
- Bonus: Experience in hospitality, events, lifestyle brands, or multi-location small business operations
