Our client is a rapidly growing ESG-focused investment company that partners with real estate owners and managers to fund the installation of patented water technologies, designed to increase NOI and asset value.

They are searching for Head of Sales to build, lead, and scale their B2B sales organization. This senior leader must have deep expertise in the real estate industry, especially experience selling into or managing residential, commercial or mixed-use portfolios. The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on leader, capable of driving enterprise-level growth while also mentoring and managing a high-performing sales team.

 

Candidates must be based in the Greater Tampa area.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute the go-to-market sales strategy for targeting real estate portfolio owners and operators, REITs, asset managers, VP Facilities, etc.
  • Build, lead and mentor a team of sales executives to exceed growth and revenue goals.
  • Cultivate relationships with key clients and strategic partners in the senior living, hospitality, student and multi-family verticals.
  • Oversee the full sales lifecycle—from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation, closing, and account growth.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Operations and Finance to ensure alignment across departments and deliver a seamless client experience.
  • Own forecasting, sales pipeline management, and performance reporting using CRM and analytics tools.
  • Identify market trends, customer insights, and opportunities to refine messaging and positioning.
  • Serve as a member of the executive leadership team, contributing to overall company strategy and growth initiatives.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of B2B sales experience, with at least 3+ years in a sales leadership role.
  • Strong background in the real estate sector, including direct experience working with real estate portfolios, asset managers, or developers in senior living, hospitality, multi family, student living or affordable housing.
  • Proven track record of scaling sales teams and exceeding multimillion-dollar revenue targets.
  • Strong local network within the real estate industry is a significant advantage.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Data-driven, results-oriented, and highly strategic.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce), forecasting models, and performance metrics.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Experience in high-growth environments (startup or scale-up phase).
  • Experience selling real estate tech-enabled solutions.
  • Familiarity with both short and long sales cycles, including enterprise-level deals.

Compensation

$250,000 – $300,000 total compensation between base and commission
