Our client is a digital services provider that partners with leading companies globally. They are now looking for a Chief Information Architect as they are establishing themselves into the US market. This role will assess clients’ tech needs, identify system gaps, and develop enhanced software and hardware solutions that align seamlessly with existing systems. They ensure regulatory compliance, plan projects, and prioritize efficiency and quality in design and network optimization.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a strong understanding of the interplay of various business model components, encompassing operating systems and application structures.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to asses their needs and translate them into technical specs and system blueprints.

  • Engineer high-quality system architectures for both off-the-shelf and custom applications.

  • Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of software solutions.

  • Establish and enforce best practices for system design, development, and deployment.

  • Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in system architecture and software development.

  • Assure that all solutions meet performance, scalability, and security criteria.

  • Provide technical guidance to clients and nurture ongoing client relationships.

  • Furnish prompt customer feedback to the production department to align product development with client requirements.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, system specs, and implementation plans.

  • Coach and educate junior team members to enhance their technical proficiency and expertise.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent

  • 15+ years of experience in system architecture and software development, across both custom and commercial applications

  • Strong experience in system architecture, design, and development.

  • Strong understanding of with modern software development technologies, including microservices, cloud-based architectures, and DevOps.

  • Must have strong business acumen and excellent understanding of business operations.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and excellent analytics skills

  • Excellent communications

  • Experience working with agile methods

  • Excellent command in English in both writing and verbal communication

  • Strong project management skills

  • Preference for experience in IT services

    Comp: $180K – $220K plus benefits, DOE
