Our client is an established company producing hundreds of consumer shows each year in the bridal and home sectors. Known for its strong growth and national presence, it offers a fast-paced environment where marketers can play a key role in driving engagement and expanding audience reach.

They are searching for a Vice President, Performance Marketing to lead the company's marketing function that is driven primarily by paid media. This person will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive digital advertising strategies to optimize spend and conversions, drive attendee registrations, generate revenue growth, and ensure the overall success of marketing initiatives. This role requires a dynamic leader with at least 15 years in digital advertising and a strong background in marketing, strategy, analytics and leadership.

While you'll lead strategy and oversee a capable implementation team, this is a hands-on role — you'll be deep in platform making real-time optimizations, analyzing performance, and actively managing high-impact campaigns across paid social and search.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Marketing and Analytics

  • Research best practices, strategize and oversee the development and implementation of digital marketing strategies, including paid social, search, email marketing, SEO and CRO.
  • Utilize data analytics and marketing metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives, making data-driven decisions to optimize performance.

Strategic Planning and Execution

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of marketing plans, campaigns, and initiatives to increase conversions.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign results, competitive landscape and identify opportunities for growth.

Team Leadership

  • Oversee two direct reports as well as indirect reports that are handling creative and implementation.
  • Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews to ensure team members achieve their potential.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (15+ years) in a senior digital advertising role, with a track record of success in developing and executing campaign strategies.
  • Hand to keyboard experience in paid social and paid search is required.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for innovation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

Compensation

  • $175,000 – $190,000, plus bonus. Final salary and or any flexibility will be determined by experience and geo-location.
