80Twenty is a boutique sales recruitment agency that connects high-growth companies with exceptional candidates.
About the Company
Our client is a publicly listed financial software company reshaping how enterprise clients run their finance, combining innovation with real impact. Their platform helps large, complex organizations manage financial operations with precision and scale. With an established North American presence and a growing enterprise client base, they are a recognized partner to some of the world's leading financial institutions.
About the Role
This is a senior commercial mandate. As Senior Account Manager, you will take full ownership of a focused portfolio of enterprise clients across North America – hunting for whitespace, expanding revenue into parent companies and affiliates, and closing upsell and cross-sell independently. Strong client relationships are the foundation – but this role is ultimately measured on commercial outcomes, not satisfaction scores. You will be expected to grow your book against defined retention and expansion targets, lead C-suite engagements, and build account plans that connect product adoption directly to measurable business outcomes. This role is fully remote with 40–50% US travel, primarily client-facing, and reports into the Client Success leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and deliver against annual revenue targets across renewals and expansion for a portfolio of enterprise accounts
- Independently negotiate and close renewals, multi-year contracts, and enterprise-wide expansions — without Sales support
- Identify and pursue whitespace opportunities across parent companies, subsidiaries, and sister organizations
- Lead C-suite level engagements and deliver ROI-focused quarterly business reviews
- Build and execute strategic account expansion plans tied directly to product adoption and business outcomes
- Maintain 90%+ forecasting accuracy on renewals and expansion pipeline
- Drive upsell and cross-sell across the full solution suite
- Partner with internal teams to ensure client health supports commercial growth
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise SaaS Account Management or Customer Success with direct commercial ownership — not a relationship management or support role
- Proven track record of independently closing renewals, upsells, and multi-year expansions without reliance on a Sales team
- Concrete examples of expanding accounts into parent companies, new business units, or sister organizations
- Consistent history of owning and hitting a commercial number — GRR, expansion targets, or both
- Exceptional executive presence with demonstrated experience leading QBRs and influencing C-suite stakeholders
- Strong commercial acumen — able to connect product adoption to measurable ROI and business outcomes
- Background in financial services, banking, insurance, or enterprise tech client environments
- Experience at a fintech, financial software, or RegTech company is a strong differentiator (e.g. Workiva, BlackLine, Trintech, OneStream, Wolters Kluwer, Broadridge, SS&C, ION Group, or similar)
- East Coast based preferred; Central time zone will be considered
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive base salary plus bonus
- 401(k) with company matching
- Medical, dental, and vision coverage
- Pre-tax savings accounts
- Life and disability insurance
