They’re hiring their first Business Development Manager to lead expansion efforts. They seek a self-motivated, forward-thinking individual contributor who stays ahead of emerging technologies and actively pursues the next wave of innovation – ensuring they are at the forefront of cutting-edge, reliable connectivity for residents and communities.

This is a full-time role, on-site in Tampa, Florida. Frequent travel will be expected to client offices and project sites as well as industry conferences and events around Florida and occasionally out of state.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively develop and manage outbound sales pipelines to drive new business opportunities.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition, converting skeptical prospects into enthusiastic advocates.
  • Cultivate and maintain strategic business partnerships to support long-term growth.
  • Represent the company at industry and networking events to expand visibility and generate leads.
  • Schedule and deliver compelling, tailored presentations that clearly demonstrate the value of the company to prospective partners.
  • Consistently meet or exceed defined sales KPIs and performance targets.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for prospective partners, providing a seamless connection between external stakeholders and internal teams.
  • Provide regular reports to the VP of Operations covering pipeline status, negotiation progress, installation logistics, timelines, and final agreement execution.
  • Collaborate closely with operations and marketing teams to inform and develop strategic outreach campaigns based on real-time market feedback.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or relationship management; real estate or industry-specific experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Proven track record of working effectively with external partners, including C-suite executives, clients, and management companies.
  • Experience running the full sales cycle, from first outreach through close.
  • Strong confidence and capability in engaging with and presenting to senior leadership and financial decision-makers.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, think creatively, and navigate complex situations with professionalism and tact.
