Our client is a leading global alternative investment firm. They specializes in providing both debt and equity capital to middle market companies, utilizing a flexible and operationally focused/value-added approach.

 

The Role

They are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Presentation & Marketing Specialist to join their Capital Formation team. The ideal candidate is equal parts visual communicator and digital marketer — someone who can distill complex investment themes into compelling pitch materials while also optimizing outreach through effective marketing materials and tactics.

Key Responsibilities

Presentation Design

  • Transform complex financial, investment, and strategic concepts into compelling, investor-ready pitch decks and visual narratives
  • Collaborate closely with the IR, deal, and marketing teams to produce decks for fundraising, portfolio updates, and executive communications
  • Apply brand identity and consistency across all collateral with a sharp eye for detail, typography, and data visualization
  • Produce templated and custom materials in PowerPoint, and other design tools as needed

LP Communications (including email marketing & campaign execution)

  • Design and execute email marketing campaigns (newsletters, investor updates, event invites)
  • Segment target audiences and personalize messaging based on investment profiles or engagement patterns
  • Monitor campaign performance (open rates, CTRs, conversions) and optimize future content and send strategies accordingly

Creative Strategy

  • Work closely with the Head of IR and other internal stakeholders to define the look, feel, and tone of materials and events that reflect the company brand

Template Development

  • Build and maintain branded templates and visual guidelines to ensure consistency across all external-facing materials

Project Management

  • Manage multiple projects with competing deadlines, adapting quickly to last-minute changes and shifting priorities

Qualifications

  1. 5+ years of experience in a creative, presentation design, or investor communications role—ideally within the private equity, asset management, or investment banking industry.
  2. Advanced PowerPoint skills are a must; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is a plus
  3. Strong visual storytelling skills with an eye for layout, typography, color, and data visualization
  4. Solid understanding of alternative investments and financial concepts to ensure content is not only well-designed but also contextually accurate and relevant
  5. Experience communicating with sophisticated institutional investors (LPs)
  6. Self-starter with exceptional time management and organizational skills
  7. Collaborative mindset, yet comfortable working independently

Location & Flexibility
This role can be based in New York, San Francisco, or Miami and is in office Monday – Thursday.

Compensation
$125,000 – $160,000 depending on experience
