Our client, an innovative, rapidly growing, leading Solar Company is seeking a VP of Sales to join the team in Tampa, FL. As the Vice President of Sales, you will be responsible for building and leading the sales team, driving revenue growth, and developing strategies to expand our customer base. You will play a critical role in shaping the sales organization, fostering a high-performance culture, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets There’s no corporate nonsense, and no old-fashioned hierarchy. Role & Responsibilities: 

  • Build a team and culture of sales excellence
  • Implement sales program by developing sales action plans in new expansion territories
  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales volume and profit for existing and new projects
  • Build long-lasting customer relationships in target markets
  • Identify market trends while being fully aware of new products and competition status. 
  • Focus sales efforts by studying local market trends and potential new customers
  • Create and deploy marketing initiatives for specified territory
  • Keep management informed by maintaining activity and result reports, daily call reports, weekly work plans and monthly territory analysis
  • Recommend changes in company programs and positioning by evaluating results and competitive developments
  • Complete Projects within the approved Schedule and Budget

What You’ll Need to Be Successful:   

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 4+ years of proven experience in related roles required.
  • Understanding of sales processes, lead qualification methodologies, and CRM systems.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and build rapport with prospects.
  • A deep desire to be part of creating something unique and who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions.  
  • Ability to comprehend complex problems and explain them in a simple and relevant way.  
  • Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.  
  • Self-sufficient with ability to solve unique problems creatively.   
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.  
  • Proactively identifies issues that require resolution or follow up and taking steps or making recommendations to resolve.  
  • Person of high ethics, integrity, honesty with lots of passion, drive, and a sense of humor.
