Our client, a well funded Series A startup in the database space is looking for an accomplished Sales Development Representative to join their team. With an incredible 22k GitHub and strong reputation amongst the developer community, our client is looking for a driven SDR to convert their impressive flow of inbound leads. 

 

This role will work closely with the VP of Marketing, and is on track to evolve into an Account Executive role within 1-2 years. The SDR will be focusing primarily on enterprise customers who have registered interest in the new product, qualifying and setting meetings with decisions makers to convert those leads. you’ll help develop new sales opportunities, manage incoming sales inquiries, and support our growth initiatives. Experience selling technical products is important for the role, as well as experience around a product led motion being a big plus. This role also comes with the opportunity to close smaller deals on your own. 
 

This is a fully remote role. Our client is targeting approximately $70-80k base salary, with an OTE of $150k. 
 

Responsibilities: 
 

  • Proactively engage with product leads in order to assist and qualify them
  • Qualify inbound demo and free trial requests
  • Identify and qualify large sales opportunities and work to engage with other stakeholders within the organization to book meetings
  • Create new sales pipeline to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual bookings objectives
  • Close deals with small and medium sized opportunities

 

Requirements:
 

  • 2+ years of proven experience in SaaS company in a sales role (ideally with a product-led motion and a technical product)
  • Experience with Hubspot to manage sales pipelines and related workflows
  • Ability to communicate the business value of complex cloud technologies, especially with technical customers
  • Strong communication skills, comfortable communicating with enterprise customers over phone, email, and linked-in
