Position Purpose
The Manager of Lifecycle Automated Marketing oversees the Curious Jane team of email marketing professionals.
They are responsible for the overall development and execution of our clients’ automated marketing strategies,
designed to optimize their customer journey. This role focuses on enhancing customer experience, lead nurturing,
managing marketing automation systems, ensuring client marketing activities are aligned with overall business
objectives and keeping abreast of the latest trends and technologies in marketing automation.
Reports to: Senior Director of Digital Marketing and Analytics

Strategy Development:
o Develop and implement comprehensive lifecycle marketing strategies to guide our clients’
customers from awareness through advocacy.
o Identify key customer segments and design personalized marketing journeys tailored to each
Campaign Management:
o Design, execute and manage automated marketing campaigns across various channels,
including email, SMS, social media and more.
o Ensure campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and that they meet performance

Segmentation and Personalization:
o Utilize customer data to segment audiences and deliver personalized communications based
on lifecycle stage and behaviors.
o Implement advanced personalization techniques to enhance customer engagement.
Performance Analysis:

o Monitor and analyze campaign performance using key metrics such as open rates, click-
through rates, conversion rates, and customer retention rates.

o Provide regular reports and insights to senior management and stakeholders.
o Continuously test and optimize campaigns to improve effectiveness and achieve better ROI.
o Implement A/B testing and other optimization methods to refine marketing strategies.
Team Leadership and Collaboration:
o Lead and manage a team of email marketing professionals, providing guidance, support and
performance evaluations.
o Participate in C-suite level client meetings and prospect pitches regarding Curious Jane’s
lifecycle automated marketing services.
o Work closely with sales, client services and other departments to ensure a cohesive and
seamless customer experience.
o Collaborate with external partners and vendors as needed.
Tools and Technology:
o Manage and optimize marketing automation/customer relationship platforms and tools to support
marketing goals.
o Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in lifecycle marketing and automation.
Customer Insights:
o Gather and analyze customer feedback and data to understand their needs, preferences and

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, automated marketing or a similar role.
• 2+ years of experience leading teams.

• Proficiency in marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce Marketing
• Knowledge of responsive design techniques to ensure emails render well on various devices and
screen sizes.
• Knowledge of email marketing regulations, such as the CAN-SPAM Act, to ensure legal
• Strong analytical skills and experience with performance analysis and reporting.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Creative thinker with a customer-centric mindset.

• Proficiency in HTML for structuring email content and CSS for styling.
