Our higher education client is seeking tech-savvy IT and Media Support Specialist to join their team. They are looking for a dynamic problem-solver that will support the organization in all things tech-related and ensure their tech foundation remains solid for smooth day-to-day operations.
This is a full-time, onsite role based in Berkeley, CA.
Responsibilities
- Manage and install software and hardware as well as manage inventory
- Support tech issues onsite and remotely and tend to end-user incidents in a timely manner
- Oversee audio-visual setups for events and basic troubleshooting for meetings and conferences
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software, and manage inventory
- Train users on hardware, software, and systems
- Manage technology projects and act as the point person for migrations and new solution implementations
- Manage vendor relationships with outsourced IT partners
- Document support activities and resolutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and three years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient in deploying and troubleshooting hardware and peripherals.
- Experienced in handling conference room setups, Zoom/Teams conferencing, telephony systems, and collaboration tools.
- Proven ability as a desktop technician to resolve complex technical issues.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Base: $75k-85k DOE + benefits
