Our client, a lobbying and educational organization which focuses on environmental issues, is looking for a Deputy Digital Director to join their dynamic, fun, and high-performing team. Reporting to the Communications Director, the Deputy Digital Director the strategy and execution of the organization's digital marketing plans across a range of channels – including paid search, paid social, SEO and more. An ability to develop strategy and media plans is important for the role, as well being comfortable being hands-on keyboard executing campaigns.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement digital goals and strategies to drive organizational growth.
- Lead digital advertising campaigns, focusing on brand awareness, website traffic, and social media engagement.
- Mentor and manage the digital team, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
- Oversee the digital ecosystem, including SEO, SEM, SMO, PPC, email marketing, paid ads, and online fundraising.
- Analyze digital analytics and generate marketing reports.
- Stay updated on consumer and marketing trends, especially those relevant to climate crisis solutions.
- Manage digital projects, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-departmental teams to align digital strategies.
- Evaluate and update digital policies and strategies based on industry trends.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in related fields and 8+ years of experience in digital media.
- Proficiency with tools like Google Analytics, Facebook Business Manager, WordPress, and EveryAction.
- Expertise in major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube).
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience in managing budgets and executing marketing strategies.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proven ability to mentor and grow a digital team.
